is clone wars canon

Well, the clone wars cartoon is as canon as the Courtship of Leia or Dark Empire. It's EU, and reagdless its very good. KOTOR was good and its also EU. So its canon regardles of level. Its there, it can't be erased, forgotten, yeah you could do that retcon crap. But for the people that are not into that it goes down to the stories. Heck, I got friends that say that the Star Wars Battlegrounds 1 and 2 video games are just as canon as the movies. I know, some of you are saying ...what? Well it depends on taste. These arguments are good, becuase everyone will either watch or won a peice of whatever star wars stuff comes out. Therby making it very good.

 

It's EU. Everything but the movies is considered EU. However, some aspects of the cartoon are canon. Things Lucas told them to put in, like Grievous kidnapping Palpatine and Grievous getting his chest crushed, is canon. However, the abduction of Palpatine didn't necessarily happen the same way it did in the cartoon. But it did happen at the hands of Grievous.
