FF:NZ Is is just me.....

.... or has the NZFF been fairly inactive as late? this time a year ago, we were posting new threads almost daily and now it seems that there's about one every other week.

Even the threads that have been going for ages, like the movie, LOTR, music, latest finds and the other long-lasting topics of conversation seem to have dried up somewhat.

Perhaps everyone's been busy, or I've just had more time on my hands.....

What d'ya think?

 

it's kinda self-perpetuating too ... I've tried to post a bit in the last few weeks, but there's hardly ever any responses to my posts, and the discussion never really gets kick-started.

I thought there'd be a wee bit more response to my "AOTC - 1 year on" thread, after all, _everyone's_ seen the film, right?

It's going through a quiet phase. It'll pick up again. These things go in cycles...

 

Yea, there's always a slump in the 'between times' ... when I joined in 00, I remember only three or four regular posters. Also, we lost Buzz, who used to 'up' a lot of threads.

I think we're doing okay. I know I've been posting less because I have a full schedule this semester, and I'm not getting home until late.

I know there's a lot more star wars fans in NZ than post here ... we almost never see the swnz team, or the 501st guys ... I think they have their own message board.

I always visit the boards for a sanity check and a chuckle, but don't always post.

Damn this degree!! It's taking up all of my spare time!!!

 

I try to post regularly but shift work is always a pain because i finish later than when everyone is around and about lol but i check the boards everyday now.

 

yes the boards have been very quiet but like JP said it goes in cycles.
I generally visit the boards daily at work but have not posted much.

 

Just wanted to check; as a fairly small community, I figured we'd either all be busy with other stuff.

In a side note, STH and I are comtemplating spearheading some new FF meetups - perhaps a Matrix viewing....?

 

I try to post when I can, but there isn't that much new to talk about. I'm always up for a discussion if someone wants to pick a SW topic

 

I've been bit busy with the midsemester tests. The last one finished tonight, it was fairly easy too . I don't have to start worrying about the final exams for at least a few days from now.
