Is is true that Padme's nipples were digitally removed from the movie?

I think it is just the seam in the fabric.
I don't think they digitally removed them.

I thought it was the shirt seam as well, not nipples.

It is a bit nipply out...Did I say nipple...there is a nip in the air.

I will say this though, if you watch when Obiwan and Anakin go into the club to get Zam, there is an extra with her back turned to the camera. Is it just me or does her arse ignite your lightsaber? OMG! She has got back!

Well we might not have had a Ewan nipple scene in SW but in some of his movies not only do you see his nipples you can see his entire body nude *INCLUDING* his erh... snake.

The nipples are in the DVD. I can't imagine why some people think they were digitally removed.

I remember this aspect of AOTC *precisely* because my girlfriend at the time remarked on it in the cinema - and sure enough, when i saw that scene on the dvd, there it was (or there they were, i should say).

And hey, we should ALL get out more but this is a Sar wars board so who's compalingin, right?!?!

I have a copy of the theatre version of AOTC, and I just checked that scene: There is no seam in the theatre version, just a shirt, and her nipples are protruding, so I guess he did delete them.

The seams were there in the theatrical version, they just weren't alone.

 

The scene where they recieve the message from Ben on Tatooine. I just compared the DVD and the Theatrical, and the DVD has seams, the Theatrical doesn't.

 

No, the theatrical has wash out, the DVD doesn't.

You can see the seams on her outfit from the very first spy photos we saw taken on set, and there are better photos of her white outfit in the visual dictionary.

Trust me the seams were always there, and so were her nipples.
