LA, CA "Is It Friday Yet?" Part Deux

Friday's are no longer any fun for me...

 

As a matter of fact, it is Friday! Whew!

 

I'm off today! And I work 430am-4 tomorrow. I long for the days of m-f work. Enjoy your weekends everyone!

 

Many moons ago Iworked retail. I vaguely remember split "weekends." They should be illegal, in my opinion.

 

Poor APL. I wish I could swing by to visit but this weekend is packed. Tonight is homecoming and I'm looking forward to the game.

 

I'm working this weekend and next weekend to boot! Cha-ching!!

 

DH, I've been dying to go to a local football game. I pass by the high school here in Sherman Oaks on my way home and every Friday it is packed with people going to the game. It reminds me of back in the day when I was in high school and went.

I would go DH, though I couldn't this month due to my second job.

The season ends halfway through November so if you are free then you can come with us.

I work for the LAUSD Athletics Department and will get a copy of the play off schedule for you when it comes out. The regular High School football season ends November 9. What schools are you near. I'll let you know when they're playing. Unfortunately, I only have access to hard copies so I can't email you the information.

 

I wish it were Friday and I wish that this old man I have to work with would retire or get laid off himself. I'm having labor issues at work because the leader and the second in command were fired for doing something they shouldn't have. Well it really sucks because they were great at what they did and they should have just gotten off with a warning instead of being fired. Now I'm left with a senile cranky foreman who doesn't know what he is doing. I have a meeting tomorrow with him and a few others in my department to discuss these issues.

 

I don't think Friday's are going to have much meaning for me any time soon. Most of our shoots will be on Saturdays and we will try our best to schedule shoots on Sundays, too. That usually yields the best results for equipment rentals, that way you can rent equipment for a weekend and you just pay for one day. Saves money on the budget. I don't think I'll be having many weekends off for the next year, but it's worth it. If you love what you're doing it's not a big deal...

 

I wish it were Friday for I am going to Disneyland this weekend and playing Wii

FRIDAY! We're not going to the Varsity game tonight as it is an away game and mi familia does not feel like going. Oddly enough, it's at the high school SR drove by, Notre Dame High.

 

I think it's my homecoming game. But not going. Going out! Having a drink!

 

That would be the high school DH. I still want to go to a game though.

 

More of a college football fan than high school, personally.
So I'm looking forward to Sat more than Friday in that sense since that'll be the UCLA/Cal game.

Though I am looking forward to Friday in the sense that I've been heading out to Halloween themed events every fri/sat/sun for the last two weeks, as well as for the next two.

 

We go to the high school games to support the school. I prefer Pro Football to college though I think this year my padawan and I are going to go to the Rose Bowl.

When will Friday arrive?

 

Personally, I prefer podracing.

 

I go to the college games in large part as UCLA is where my dad graduated from, and my uncle. Also a place I'd like to sneak my way into if I can manage it.
