Is it just me, or are the ads not showing?

I'm getting the very mysterious, and oh so voluptous red X, in place of the adbar. Now I'm not complaining, per se, but still, they should be working.

I like the x more than the ugly, flashy adbar.

 

I've noticed this too. Whatever the issue is, we have no control over it.

They're not showing for me either, which is fine. Yesterday they were loading sooo incredibly slowly I could barely get anywhere on the boards.

 

Kadue and I notified IGN within minutes of them going away. We're waiting on a reply.

Oops your right. Ok ever one let's not talk about it then we won't see the ads. D'oh I just said the word ads. Oh well at lest we don't have to look at them.

I have never seen an ad on these boards. Never. Even though I make "add holders" in my banner submission. Ironic eh?

The ads have been showing for me all day. Are you using Netscape or IE?

 

They haven't been working for me, either, but I'm very okay with that. They never really held anything of interest to me, anywho.

I agree with Eaglet, especially since I'm already an IGN Insider. I would click on them more if they were interesting.

Yes! IGN turned its first ever profit in Quarter Four of 2002. EVER, they had never had a profitable quarter before! So yes, the money can't hurt.

 

I'm now using Netscape, and they still are not showing.

 

I seen an ad about a year ago I think.

 

They're showing up every so often now.

 

There has never, EVER been an IGN add on the JC for me. The ad space is simply blank. Maybe I have some feature enabled to prevent it. Doesn't really matter to me.

 

I hope they never come back.

 

We always complain about the ads, but now that they're gone, we're complaining that they aren't here? ?
