Is it just me, or is it funny that ...

most of the jedi in the cartoon like throw off their robes??? Anikan, Mace and Kit Fisto have all done it so far... Its like an overexaggeration of the throw of the robes....


I espically liked it when Anikan did his and the robe hit 3po!

 

They can't fight with their robe on.

and he did so in ATOC....


no I find it funny on the WAY they shed their robes.....


Compared to teh way mace shed his robe in ATOC....


in the cartoon its all exaggerated.

Jedi can fight with their robes on, dude.

Didn't you watch Obi-Wan in the ANH duel.

Or Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan in the first half of TPM?

Or Obi-Wan when he battled Jango Fett?

 

Well I think when they have time to take off their robes they do so.

 

Although Luminara Unduli and Barris Ofee seem to function fine with all of their baggage.

As far as Jedi/Sith fighting with their robes on......well, Darth Maul has 'em all beat.

In TPM he dueled with Qui-Gon wearing those heavy, black robes in the desert of all places. Black robes in the hot desert sun.

Maul was one bad mofo, I tell ya.

Obi-wan in ANH was also known as Old Ben.

 

I find it cool how they throw off their robes. It's easier to fight and it was funny when Anakin's hit C-3P0 in chapter 1.

 

Some Jedi are just too fashionable for their own good.

No, seriously, they're from the same planet, and both have especially weird robing. Maybe its a cultural thing. like Islam.

But most Jedi disrobe during the REALLY important battles.

 

I like it. Makes them seem like bad A's.

Reminds me of Mace in the Geonosis battle.

Did he take time to take off his robe, fold it up, and lay it gently to the side so it didn't get ruffled or dusty?
