Census Is it ok to punch fascists in or around their face?

As we all know, Richard Spencer has been punched in his Aryan master race face a couple of times in public recently.

Some people express reservations at this.

No. They should be pied.

 

He was not suppressed by the government, so his first amendment rights were not violated. The first amendment does not protect you from other people's actions (even though that other guy could have been charged for assaulting him).

Why technically no?

Fascism represents more of a threat to our shared liberal values than communism. Punching faces that house brains that feel fascism is acceptable is our duty.

 

Personally, I'd say communism is just as bad as fascism - both have resulted large scale suffering, systemic murder and exploitation. Punch them both.
