Seriously though, no, I don't think you should hit fascists in the face. Because morally, it gives them the upper hand, which is the opposite of what you want to achieve.
It emboldens them. They can play the victim. It puts them in the spotlight, and grants them sympathy.
Don't take it from me, take it from an ex-neonazi. Or from a former NYT ethicist.
It's not so much a question of taking the high road, it's more tactically wiser to just... pie them.
