I thought Trollpatine was Palpatine's default mode.

You had to have been here on this particular forum during the release of the prequels a decade (plus) ago to really get the reference. The Canon Wars were quite a sight to behold. They were the Clone War of TFN.

Movie Purist vs. EU fans. The Purists steadfastly unwilling to accept anything from the EU that didn't make it to the big screen. EU fans mad at poor George Lucas for writing his movies with blatant disregard for the novels.

Levels of Canon were accepted as religion, and a crusade raged.

And who can forget member BibFortunaTwilek??? Lol.

Okay, I just got my Star Wars, the essential guide to planets and moons in the mail as it was the cheaper of the two planets reference guide. Right now I've been reading ShatterPoint for the past few days, but I don't remember which planet Mace had to travel to. It probably says in the book at the beginning, but I'm not going to go through it to find it. If anyone knows which planet the story takes place on, that would be great, I gotta study up on it, so I can understand the landscape better.

Kal's a name of a person, unless it is both, anyway, the book may not have the planet in it, the other reference book surely would, mine just has the main planets and it has a timeline of important events as an introduction but doesn't mention the clone wars as an event or movies 1-3. Anyway The planets that start with H in the reference book are Hapes, Honoghr, Hoth. Any ring a bell? And I know it wouldn't be Hoth as the book never describes snow or ice or a cold planet.

The Essential Guide to Planets and Moons was written before Shatterpoint and doesn't have Haruun Kal.

Why would a children's picture book have a detailed timeline of the EU?

Haruun Kal is the planet. Mace Windu's home world. I double checked after my post. It is also the planet in, "Shatterpoint."
