LOL, I've got a December birthday as well and for some reason the combo presents never bothered me. They were always bigger than if I got separate presents.

My 18th birthday was the first birthday on which I had snow; also let's just say it was a lot of fun celebrating being a legal adult when I had already been in college for a semester. [face_party] My 21st was memorable because it was the first time I ordered wine in front of my parents. My 25th was depressing for some reason; my 35th was fun but really low-key since I was pregnant at the time. 40th was awesome.

    Yep, I'm there.

I always felt bad for kids whose birthdays landed close to Christmas.

I bet Jesus never got a motorcycle for his birthday.

Jesus invented the motorcycle. And for his bday his pops got him an OCC chopper.

To the OP. after thirty I've had two daughters and a son. They have enhanced life beyond anything experienced in my twenties.

Yes, here too... I mentioned earlier that having two young kids was like getting to have a second childhood. They were both born after we both turned 30.

Ditto that. I was 33 and 35 when my kids were born. They keep me young, and I'm glad I didn't have them earlier.

I wonder if I can pull off the "Hollywood Guy" thing of having my first kid when I am about 55-60.

You probably could, but why would you want to?

Cause. "normal guys" are usually domesticated by their mid 30s. Celebrities seem to stay young until their 70's or so.

    Few things to consider:

    1. You can't stop it happening so why worry?

    2. It's only terrible if you think it is.

    3. Big birthday = big prezzies!

Yes, I like talking about Bob's impending death. Let's get back to that.

What do you mean "domesticated?" What are we even talking about in this thread?

What does domestication mean in reference to human beings?

Settled down... less wild, more civilized, etc... pretty much the same thing it means with animals. You seriously needed this spoon fed to you?

I don't by, for one second, that you're housebroken.

People say my husband and I are stuck up because we don't want to 'hang out'. I'm like, no, it's called 'tired'. With a pinch of 'been there done that'.

    *sigh*

It's true. It's either the toilet or the sink, but I usually take the dishes out of the sink first if that's worth anything.

Correct. Usually involving bald spots, love handles, and or small children.
