Once we get reality movies, I will kill myself.

I love the competition-style reality TV. The shows that just follow families around are meh. You can't beat how the Hills ended and I haven't been able to watch that style of reality TV since then. However, shows like the Bachelor are such a train wreck that I can't stop watching because it is supposed to be for love but it's a competition and people like to win so the combination makes for hilarious TV.

Yeah. Swamp People: The Movie? Let's not and say we did. Or let's just not.

Competition-style reality TV is pretty much the modern game show. I love those types of reality shows as most of them require the players to have the ability to strategize, read other people, be social, have a poker face, luck and determination. Then shows like Master Chef or So You Think You Can Dance, must have talent, ability, skill and stage presence.

 

I see Jackass as a parody of reality TV.

Movies based on reality TV shows? The producers of The Real World tried it with this:



And it didn't exactly work out (as in, nobody went to see the damn thing).

Not to mention movie theaters wanted a piece of the American Idol pie, so From Justin To Kelly was made and flopped, so it's because of these two reasons we're not seeing anything like Duck Dynasty: The Movie coming to theaters.

 

Yeah, the last thing we need is Homophobic Rednecks: The Movie.

From Justin to Kelly was more of a scripted movie that who's writer clearly thought they were writing something similar to Britney Spears' movie bomb.

Still the bomb of The Real Cancun is why nobody has decided to do reality show - like movies again.

 

Film the death of Reality TV and air it this fall on CBS!

 

The only good reality tv shows are the educational ones.
