Really, I finally picked up the "Arena Battle" Reek today. It was on sale for about $7.00 at Target. But that's beside the point, I've heard all of the criticism about this toy, but personally I like it. I mean it's not great, but it's no better than the Acklay, in my oppinion anyway. Maybe it's because I got it for such a cheap price, but I don't think so. Basicly, I just want to know, does anyone else actually like the Reek toy, or am I just insane?

P.S. Thread No. 2, lets hope this one dosen't get locked like my last one!

1/2 discount! that's pretty good! i haven't purchased any of the arena beasts yet, but once i gather up a reasonably large sum of money i plan on getting all three: the acklay, nexu and reek. i personally think it's a pretty nice looking toy..:)

Your title seems to lean toward a freudian slip. :p

But I've always thought it was cool, but I'd rather get the Acklay. :D

I have the Nexu, Reek and Acklay. They are some of my favorites! the acklay is just too cool. I wish it made noises like the reek and nexu, though. :( I don't know what to call it's sound. screech maybe?

I like the reek a lot too, but the acklay more!

You Must chose the right toy,but chose wisely for the real good toy will give you happiness, when the false one will take it from you.

In the tital of the thred I thought you were talking about what you had to press on the reek to get it to make that noise.

I have all 3 beasts, the Ackly is the hardest to find. I bought my online. About a week later I found it at Wal Mart. I now have 2. I have not seen one since.

There's just something about the Acklay that struck a chord with me when I first saw it in the early morning hours (like 2:30 AM or whatever it was by then :p ) of May 16th. The Reek? A bull. We've seen that before. The Nexu? A mountain lion. We've seen that before.

But how often do you get to see a 15 foot tall praying mantis crab thing mixed with a ting of spider? Factor in that uber-cool screech.... Instant love. :D

I have all 3 beasts now, I think my favorite is the Acklay, followed by the Reek, then the Nexu (Probably because it's the smallest) Sithy's right there's just something about the Acklay that strikes, therefore I'm temporally changing my signature. As far as Acklays being rare, not here in R.I. theres a crapload of Acklays everyware. Good luck "RobertYodaRugenStein". See Ya Guys Later...... Freudian Slip LOL :)

I finally figured out what Goo_Child and co. were taliking about when they said that by the title of this thread, they thought that it was going to be about the button that you had to press to make him roar. What's up with that? I mean, I would roar to, if sombody jammed my ball sack up, but really Hasbro, was this absolutlely nessesary? Oh Yeah, on the front of the box it says pull battle "HORN" to make him roar. Do you get it? Emphasis on the word "HORN" !!!!!!!!!!The "Naughty Button" :) BTW LOL Sithman :)

P.S. Please Forgive me for the (No Message Posts), I was having computer problems.

I got the Reek free from Hasbro Austria.
    They got some packaged samples
and gave it to me. I have my contacts.
    It`s a nice toy.
I bought the Acklay nearly three weeks ago. I really like that one! It still needs a lot of grip because it`s sinking to the floor
after a few minutes if it stands on glass,
    for example.
The head isn`t painted but that`s not the end of the world to me.
It has a lot of articulation but you`ll be stuck in the Realscan pose of the ILM model. The head can`t turn as well.

I like both beasts. I won`t buy the Nexu
even if I like kittens I don`t need everything Hasbro produces.

P.S.: When I read the topic I thought you were talking about it`s
    " buttonzone ". :p
