What do you think?
I figured she is!?!?!
Not in that dress she's not.
I realised this yesterday, actually. My wife has been having a field day with Disney buying Star Wars, but as she is a Disney lover, she has not been enjoying the idea of Leia as a Disney Princess...
... On that note, can constitutional monarchs like Padme be a Disney Princess?
Now there's a thought! And technically, was Leia a Princess?
She was a Senator's daughter, yes?
Yes, from memory. Was Bail ever a King or Prince? Or did he just call her 'his little princess' and she bought it?
Adopted by Bail and Breha, and Breha was Queen of Alderaan. Very much a Princess.
Ah I didn't know that. Cool.
Adopted Princess......not royal blood....got it. Like a couple of the Disney Princess'
Was Mulan ever really a princess?
Is Leia even a Princess still to begin with?
If she is considered to be a Disney Princess she's my favorite Disney Princess now!
I've always thought that as soon as Alderaan was destroyed, that title was lost to her.
I think that would depend on who you asked.
Someone should asks Lucas that one day eventually.
Leia Organa. A princess.... with a gun!?
Princess with Attitude! And hey, Mulan used weapons, as did Pocahontas.
Mulan did use those awesome cannon things. I was just referencing Quinlan Vos.
Well, Disney just got more AWESOME!
According to Alderaan survivors she was still their princess regardless.
There was another planet in the Alderaan system, Delaya, and the Alderaanians continued as a identifiable unit, colonising New Alderaan... and then abandoning it. It's a ceremonial title in some respects because she has chosen not to directly lead her people, it would seem.
I guess it all depends on how one would view the situation I guess.
It's a bit... flowy for leia maybe? Sums up the franchise change nicely though.
Too girly and too much makeup and bow lips. Other than that, not too terrible.
