I didn't really crush on Leia that much. But remember, I first saw Star Wars when I was 7. The next time I saw it, the Special Edition, I had already lost my virginity. And of course, even as a 7-year-old, I knew she fell in love with her brother, and that's kinda gross.

I think it has alot to do with the charachter, Leia is not supposed to be a sex symbol she's supposed to be one of the heroes.

From a certain point of view. However when Fisher did SW should would've been younger than that. I assume we're on about the Fisher of the films, not the present.

I think her slave outfit was pretty cool but I dont see anything special about her look.

Well this thread is kinda pointless since answer really depends on point of view... from mine Leia IS hot it's not only her physical appearance (which is very good as well- she has pretty face and nice voice- good body and legs and her bikini is very sexy indeed ) but her attitude -there is something hot in way she is easily so angry- especially in ANH ... it's nice how she is not that kind of girl who is obviously made to be just eyecandy for male viewers (well in ANH bikini was intentional) but actual character who just happens to be female- still he was bit "damsel in distress" in ANH but not that much that it would bother me- movie would have worked with Leia's and Luke's roles swapped but well 70's world was not ready for femalehero i think....
