I've heard some seemingly hyperbolic stuff. I've heard that it's the worst season by far (which is truly frightening after Season 6) as well as that it doesn't provide a satisfying ending at all. I've also heard some mention of a Spoiler lumberjack???? I loved Seasons 1, 2, and 4. I thought Season 3 was a good preface for Season 4, which was my favorite. Season 5 was okay and I actually thought the Lumen character was a decent mixture of Lila and Miguel. Season 6 was awful except for maybe the last 5 seconds of the finale. Season 7 was meandering at points--I liked what was happening but there was so much that it seemed unfocused. After all of that, I've finally arrived to Season 8. Does Dexter really jump the shark that much in Season 8? More so than the two seasons before it? More importantly, is it worth watching, or should I pretend the show ended with Season 7?
