So NV Is something wrong with my Empire Strikes Back?

I am listening to the DVD as I work, and I noticed that in the scene when Yoda is on Luke's shoulders, right after Yoda tells Luke "Consume you it will, like it did Obi Wan's Apprentice", Luke asks "Is the dark side stronger?" and Yoda says,

"No, No... no. But the _______ is more seductive..."

where I drew the line in that sentence, seems to be an audio glitch!!!

I am playing it on an Apex player, which is known to be glitchy, but before I freak out, I need to take it home and try in there.

Anyone else hearing that glitch?

I am playing it on my 2 channel TV speakers, not 5.1 sound.

I believe it is chapter 28.

 

Just past that point in the film, I experienced no problems. Its just probably your player, Apex' are twitchy

 

TV speakers for this DVD goodness, are you mad man? IM playing my DVDs so the entire apartment complex can hear it. The only way to watch these films.

My ANH locked up during luke vs training driod. But it was on my roomates crappy x-box

I heard that a lot of people are really unhappy with the audio, and they are demanding it be fixed and that there be a re-issue.

It's possible, I heard they did it with Jurassic Park.

 

i have no complaints about my dvds so far...though i haven't had much of a chance to sit and watch.

 

I think the audio is fine. Now, of course, that's on my Netflix copies... if the one I get from Amazon has even one glitch, I'll be on the phone with Lucas myself demanding a reissue.

 

Now that I had a day off and was actually able to watch my DVD's i'm sad to say that my copy of Empire Strikes Back has the same problem as TW's :-\ that's no good. I demand a reprint!

WAIT! I just watched it with the subtitles, and what he says is "Quicker, easier, more seductive." There's no glitch, Yoda just says "quicker" weird.

 

hmmmmmmm but you can't HEAR him say quicker....you can READ it sure but you can't HEAR it, and hearing is believing.

 

I can hear it just fine, but I was listening to a 5.1 stereo system. If you are all on 2 speaker setup check your audio setup on the disk first then play it.

 

Not only is it 2 speaker set up, but my TV only has 1 audio input, and I don't have a splitter, so I'm getting 1 channel sound.
