I like my jacket to be long enough to cover my hands in case it is chilly. It's like a convenient pair of mittens which can be easily removed by pulling the sleeves back. iys also good to leave room in the middle, in case you come across a small animal in shock which needs holding and warmth.

 

No. I have pressed people overhead from time to time but you need them to hold a plank for it to work and I doubt he has the stability. Nice idea though.

I just asked him how things were going and whether he was hoping for a permanent position or just wanted the experience for his CV.

No, he's a Brit. Our assistant chief exec (absurd job title) is an idiot who writes on walls because he's heard that Google do so. He surrounds himself with impressionable idiots and impractical furniture. It keeps me amused.
