    Greetings!

I found a used CD store in my neighborhood that is selling the Classic Trilogy on VCD in its original package, unopened for about $32.

Is the VCD a good buy?

I own the Special Edition on videotape, but only have a DVD player in my apartment. I watch the videotapes on a VCR at my mom's house when I'm home. At my apartment, however, I only have a DVD player (Sony DVP NS315) and don't have the space or desire to buy a VCR.

So will the VCD's hold me over until the Classic Trilogy is released on DVD? Are you guys satisfied with the VCD?

I bought it a while back, and it's pretty good value for money :D. I watched it over and over again ... anyway. The quality's not up to DVD standards, obviously, more like normal cinema stuff, maybe better. It's been a while since I watched it. But it's good. It's the next best thing to the DVD.
