ST Is the Emperor really dead?

Right. But we had 3 movies dealing with vader after his betrayal, now hes dead. Shouldnt it be the story of luke now?

 

The OT is about both Luke and Vader (and Leia for that matter).

 

Who here knows for sure? Wasn't the OT about Luke? And when we learned Darth Vader was Anakin Skywalker, Luke's father, the story became so much bigger. The PT blew the story out like an oversized balloon. From a certain POV the ST might easily be about a new protagonist, Luke and Anakin/Vader. In fact, that would make sense, as it would be a synthesis of the two previous stories. How the new protagonist relates to Luke and Anakin/Vader and fits into the overall saga remains to be seen and is possibly the biggest open question the ST presents, right next to the problem the antagonist represents. I don't think that an appearance by Anakin/Vader as part of the overall saga resolution is beyond the realm of possibility. In fact, I think it makes sense. How large a part? Considering the characters significance to the overall saga, I can't imagine it would be token. It may not be represented by a large amount of screen time, which I wouldn't think necessary or even advisable (judging by the degree of discomfort some may have seeing Hayden Christiansen again and the fact that you want the new protagonist to exist independent of the other, older characters), but a significant enough role in assisting the protagonists with the ultimate victory over the antagonists. Who knows, extending Anakin/Vader's story arc into the ST may alleviate or even promote the favorability of Hayden's Anakin. Like I asked in the beginning of the post, 'Who Knows?' I could foresee such a scenario.

 

The obvious thing would be to create a protagonist who is torn between the sides of his heroic father and his demonic grandfather.

 

Or a protagonist who is literally torn due to the evil Cenobites.

 

Let's not forget that Anakin, while a tragic figure, was also heroic.

PT & OT = Anakins Story, Rise of his children, Anakins Tormentor (Sidious)
ST & Future trilogy? = Lukes Story, Rise of his children (Leias too), New Villain
I wouldn't mind Anakin or sidious being involved in someway, I actually hope Ghost Anakin is in it. I just dont want the main story line to continue and be all about Sidious or something Anakin did .
But like Immortiss said who knows.

 

I would prefer Anakin not being in the story actually. His part is done.

Why would hayden have JEJ's voice?

 

Although it was cooler, it would be a blatant plot hole.

 

Hayden having the voice of a mask wouldn't make sense what so ever.
