I just made a post in the prequel era forum about how I want to see the new trilogy address the folly of the Jedi as expressed by Anakin in Episode II and the Clone Wars computer animated series.

Stuff like "it is the Jedi who are in the way of peace', his agreement with Tarkin regarding the war and Jedi methodology stopping them from ending the war, the cruel separation of Republic Forceful youth from their families....

I have a separate question for you guys - was this stuff ever meant to mean anything really in the larger scheme of the story? Is it just windows into the future authoritarianism of Vader? Is it something they set-up but never fully delivered on? Is it just something for expanded universe materials to play with to give texture and "heroes on both sides" stories to the extra content?

Is my folly thinking this will ever be addressed?
