I voted for the second option. I believe that God made every person for a specific purpose, but we sometimes abandon that because we think we know better than Him. I've fallen into that trap many times myself, but I'm trying to do better.

In my opinion, anyone who actually believes humans are some kind of Earth-destroying plague should ask themselves one question: what good would come from them specifically not being here anymore?
