ST Is the lightsaber duel the biggest disappointment in Star Wars history?

Let's put this in perspective, Kylo Ren (who is not yet himself fully trained, remember Snoke tells Hux to go retrieve him so he can complete his training) kills his father, is shot in the stomach with a bowcaster (you know that weapon that was hitting with such force it was flipping stormtroopers over) chased the other two out into the cold while bleeding profusely and you're bitching he was defeated by a fresh opponent he was horribly underestimating who had just opened herself to the Force? Just checking....

I was pretty checked out by that point, but I would say no. The film as a whole qualifies for that honor, definitely.

I thought it was awesome. An outdoor lightsaber fight in the snow. We've not seen anything like this. It was a nice change.

Great setting but the choreography felt a bit flat. This is coming from someone that prefers the duels in the classic trilogy, so i'm aware the duels aren't about kicks, leaps and flips. But I would have just liked a bit more energy. That said, I definitely wouldn't describe it as the greatest disappointment in SW history either.

 

no the PT **are** the biggest disappointments in SW history. the duel between finn/rey and kylo was one of the better scenes in all of SW.

 

I don't remember seeing Anakin perform any Jedi feats beyond guessing those cards in "The Phantom Menace".
