Is the Old Republic cannon?

I personally feel it is because from what I understand Disney said the Movies and Clone Wars Series are cannon. However Darth Bane appears in Clone wars and Darth Bane is tied to the Sith Empire there for by extension I feel The Old Republic is technically Cannon.

 

No, it is not canon. Some elements from it may have been recanonized, but as a whole the Old Republic as presented in the old EU/Legends is not canon. Also this isn't a social thread, so I've removed that prefix. Locking now as the question has been answered.
