CT ISD bringing Vader to Endor

Which ISD is seen at the start of RotJ bringing Vader to Endor..I've always assumed it is meant to the be the Avenger, but is that actually given as such in a canon source?

 

It's the Devastator, the same one as the at the beginning of A New Hope.

 

What's the actual source for that? I'm intrigued..

 

Oh sorry, I was being mistaken, it's the Avenger, you were right. The Essential Atlas says Vader has used the Executor to travel from Imperial Center to Endor's star system. In the Endor system he has taken a shuttle to Avenger first, then one from Avenger to the Second Death Star. Later the Executor returned to Imperial Center, because Emperor Palpatine wanted to use the Empire's flagship for his visit on the new Death Star.
