IC: Phantom

Phantom was on a ship stood there looking around, he had heard that two rebels had been captured, he thought what must be going on in the Matrix but right now he was more focused on the things happening in the Real World, there were crowds of people standing in groups or walking about, at the moment he was on his own when he felt a slight pat on his shoulder, he turned round to see another rebel
"Hey are you the new guy"
"Yeah i'm Phantom, who are you"

Ryan Caine

Ryan thrusted his hand forward for a friendly handshake and grinned. Phantom was a new-comer so he needed to be careful.

"I'm Ryan. Ryan Caine. Nice meeting you. As you can see everyone is getting wary now. Two of our Rebel friends are captured by Agents. We have to get them back before they either die or give away the codes to our location. If the Agents receive the codes they'll send those robot Setinels to destroy Zion. We can't let that happen. In a few moments we'll be in the Matrix so get ready."

Rhad managed his way to the crowd and converesed with other people for a while.

IC: Phantom

Phantom shook Ryans hand giving him a faint smile, he listened to what he had to say and the smile quickly faded, as Ryan walked away Phantom started to think *This is bad, i'm in some serious stuff now* He looked around at the crownd once more and placed his satchel down, he looked to the metal floor and placed his head in his hands and sat on the satchel, he waited for a few moments then looked around, the other Rebels we're chatting and laughing, Phantom prfered isolation but he didn't mind the odd friendly gesture, its just when there in your face thats what annoyed him, he smiled properlly and chuckled slightly, maybe that Ryan person could become a new friend, he never knew.

Phantom stood up and headed into the crowd and started to look around to see who was there, he wandered through the sea of people for a few moments and the laent against a wall, it was getting a bit boring now waiting, Phantom wanted to go in to the Matrix now but he knew he should wait, so he did.

Ryan Caine

The lead commander came into the room and ordered everyone to silence. Ryan looked around for Phantom but figured he could handle himself. So with that, Ryan listened to the commander's speech.

"Everyone. People of Zion. You may think we are safe here underground. We've picked up faint readings of Setinels far from here. Now all of you may heard of our two Rebel friends who have been captured. I'm telling you, these Agents are relentless. They are upgraded. They will do anything to destroy us. Now the two Rebels are being under heavy watch, saving them won't be easy. After this speech you may go on and enter the Matrix. Try to bring them back alive. Don't get yourselves killed. May God watch and protect us everywhere we go. Carry on." The Commander said.

Ryan cracked his neck joints by cocking them side to side, he noticed the Commander was tired and worried. His face filled with grief.

Everyone started to disperse, spreading out. The chattering continued but not as loud as before. So with that, Ryan spoke to the hacker in lead and was about to enter the Matrix.

"Ok, everyone next stop: The Matrix." The hacker said smiling. He put on the headphones and began typing so fast on the keyboard. The myriad of screens showing the green rain codes of the Matrix seemed to hypnotize Ryan. He shook the feeling away and sat into one of the chairs. There the other Rebels did the same.

Ryan wondered about Phantom, if he was ever gonna get used to this same habit everyday. The Matrix is a dangerous world. Anything can happen. Now this will be the test. The inevitable fate of mankind.

You know what that is right? Or is this another Aero-Plane incident? It's a blimp Buddy. A blimp.

IC: White
Mega City -- Brunhilda -- [Don't get Car Sick]


White, as they sailed through the air, decided now would be the best time to remind FS that the back seat made him car sick sometimes.

"Fourty Seven!" He cried, stomache leaping into his throat as they began the descent "You know that the back seat makes me car si--" He didn't finish, just blurted the one thing he could think of. The one thing that loomed ahead of them. "--BLIMP!!!"

Just meters from it now, and a crash appearing to be imment, he had two choices.

A.) Assume the Fetal Possition and cry like a little girl or

B.) "Stop. Bullet Time."

He opted for the MC Hammer themed second option.


In an instant, he was poking his body out of the moon roof, time around his slowly in a crawl. His pistols in hand, bullets make wakes in the air as they sailed towards their target. The Good Year Blimp.

Helium, as most know, is extremely volitile.

White must have skipped that Da--ok--YEAR of science class.

His head dropped back into the car just as the blimp erupted into flame, sending shock waves in all directions, and knocking him out of Bullet time.

He could only say one thing.

"Frag."

OOC: That would be hydrogen, which they stopped using after a little snafu called the Hindenburg (well, actually they didn't use it that much around then either, but the Hindenburg made sure that they *really* didn't want to use it again). Helium is incredibly stable element, and not prone to explosions. If you don't believe me, then you must accept the fact that everytime your parents bought you a balloon, they were secretly trying to kill you.

Plus, if we're able to go off a ramp and reach a cruising altitude of a few thousand feet, colliding with an aircraft is going to be the least of our worries. There's also this annoying thing called the ground that will come up at us pretty quickly.

Seriously, we've probably got enough speed for like fifteen feet of altitude at maximum. If there's a blimp there, then we've got serious problems.

 

OOC: We also have a Guy flying towards a bridge. I'm open to possiblities.

But Ok.

Lets say it didn't blow up...and were aren't going to hit it.

You know the drill

Well, they were airborne after rattling up the ramp, and for a few moments it was as if they were flying. There was a low flying blimp above them, but Brunhilda was a van, not a valkyrie, she didn't have enough speed to even threaten it. The biggest danger was in the form of the ground, as they reached the peak of their (rather short) ascent and began to fall. Things were going to get a bit unpleasant in a few minutes, so everyone had better...

"BUCKLE UP!" yelled Chore

OOC: It's not just the law, it's also a good idea.

 

OOC: Just to filter things out a bit. Every character here involved in this RP must post within a week deadline. If you don't then I might request someone else to take your role. But give a good reason to why you can't post daily.

 

IC:

Phantom walked around the crowds when he saw the commander arrive, the Commander gave a small speech about the situation then disappeared, Phantom filtered out like the other rebels and headed to a seat, he saw the Ryan guy from before and got a seat next to him "Alright then, this should be fun" he relaxed back and waited to be jacked in.

The lead hacker began typing on the computer console and Ryran saw Phantom sit down next to him. He glanced over and nodded.

"Ok people, this is it." The hacker continued to type.

Then other Rebels who decided to stay inserted the connector plug into the back of their necks. After that they were jacked into the Matrix.

The Rebels were in a warehouse until a phone began to ring in front of them. Ryan picked it up.

"We're in." He said in monotone.

He hanged it up and then looked at Phantom and smiled.

"This is it. C'mon we can't waste anymore time. Follow me." Ryan said and began to run to another part of the warehouse.

When they arrived there was a car already waiting for them. A nice one too. A grey BMW M3. Ryan without hesitation entered the drivers seat and waited for Phantom. When he finally entered Ryan wanted to give Phantom some advice.

"Phantom, I have something to tell you. These Agents who captured the two Rebels, are reckless. They will kill on sight. Don't give them that chance. When you see one....run." Ryan said in a voice so intimidating.

Then he stuck in the key into the ignition slot and started the engine. He began to rev the engine so loudly, which made him chuckle. He shifted the lever to 'drive' and began to race out of the warehouse and into Mega City...

OOC: I'm willing to post as both Revolver and the Twins, but I'm sort of stuck with Revolver and the Twins need to interact.

 

OOC: Go ahead, if you wish. Play it any way you want.

 

IC: Phantom

Phantom felt the slight tingle as the plug went in then almost in an instant he was stood in a warehouse wearing normal clothing and looking rather smart, he looked around to see Ryan looking at him, Phantom walked over and walked with Ryan to his car and climbed in, he listened to the advice that Ryan offered and thought deeply "They sound tough, who are the two Rebels they've got anyway" Phantom sat back as the car pulled away and speeded into Mega city.

Ryan Caine

Ryan continued to drive his car around Mega City, searching for the place where the two Rebels were held at. Then Phantom asked him a question.

"Revolver and Shinobi are the two Rebels the Agents captured. Now they're threatning us that they'll kill them. We can't let that happen or allow them to aquire the codes to Zion. If the Agents somehow possess the codes then they'll send the Setinels to destroy us." Ryan explained and continued to drive around.

Moments later they arrived at the Police Department. That's the building where Shinobi was held. Though Revolver was in another building, for safety reasons.

"This is where Shinobi is held. Revolver is hidden somewhere else. We must think of a plan." Ryan said.

IC: Phantom

Phantom was quiet for the journey, just listening to the engine was calming but he still couldn't get the fact that he would probally come face to face with an Agent, he closed his eyes behind his shades then he felt the car stop, he quickly opened them again and looked at Ryan, he mentioned the two Rebels names, Shinobi and Revolver, he heard the word plan and his brain started to whirr "We need someway to get them both out simutainiously so the Agents don't have a chance to kill either of them" Phantom looked to the police station and all he could think was 'so close yet so far away'.

Ryan turned off the car's engine and continued to watch the Police department building. There were some officers going in and out of the doors, and it meant one thing: Danger.

"This is going to be difficult for us. What do you think, Phantom? Brute Force or Stealth? Or we can wait for the others to come. Hell, we can't stay here and wait, the Agents will kill them one way or another." Ryan said bitterly.

He turned around to reach for something in the backseat and pulled out a Heckler and Hoch MP5 Sub-Machine Gun. He took out the magazine and inspected the bullets inside. 30 rounds. Perfect for this kind of a situation. Though, every Rebel should know bullets are useless against Agents.

"Lock and load." Ryan cocking his weapon and grinned.

IC: Phantom

Phantom smiled briefly "Guns, i prefer different choice" he drew out five small silver throwing knives "a few of many" he then placed them back into his coat and pulled out two 9mm Beretta's and placed silencers on each "i'm thinking the stealthy approach, the front entrance is a little to obvious, we need another means of gaining entry, what do you think" He loaded and cocked his guns and did the same two the dual Uzi's he had hidden aswell, breaking in was the easy part, finding the Rebel without getting either seen or worse killed was the annoying bit.

IC: Captain Chaos, Bridge Incident

Vaguely aware that he was adjusting the universe to his own specifics, Anderson lifted the bus? front end till it was level with the rest of the vehicle, and pushed it back onto the bridge so it was no longer in danger.

A pair of white shirted paramedics from a nearby ambulance rushed up to check on the comatose driver, pushing the yellow entry doors aside, and feeling the man?s neck and wrist for sign of a pulse, yelling medical jargon to one another.

Anderson took a moment to chill, stepping round the dented grille of of a tangerine hatchback, to wander along the vehicle stacked bridge, absently changing code around him so that his form was hidden from the people around him. They would either see another person, or nothing at all.

This stopped him being swamped by reporters or hassled by the cops. As far as he was concerned, no-one could see him, but it was something he had to deliberately work on, which was why he had been seen departing the shopping district, and why the bus passengers had dirty pants now.

At this stage, he wasn?t aware of the existence of Rebels or Agents, nor the fact that they could see him.

Ryan Caine

Ryan smirked when he saw Phantom armed with a myriad of weapons. Ryan liked to keep things simple but in this situation things weren't going to be a peice of cake. Ryan then pulled out the silencer from the suitcase which came with the MP5 and screwed it onto the weapon.

"How about a mixture of both? Now are you ready for the fun part?" Ryan said with a smile and elbowed Phantom's arm gently.

Ryan held the MP5 in one hand while the other he used it to shut the car door. The two Rebels began to head towards the front when a Police officer stopped them.

"Hey what are you two guys up to? You guys lost?" The officer asked examining Ryan and Phantom.

Ryan glanced at Phantom, smiled, then nodded the signal to sudue the officer.

IC: Phantom

Phantom felt the nudge from Ryan and proceeded to exit the car, he walked across the street with him until he heard and officer speak, he loked to him and then saw Ryan nod, Phantom walked up to the officer and put his arm on his shoulder looking al casual but as he did he sqoze the nerve in the officers neck rendering him unconcious, he let him flop into his arms and sat him domn on the floor, thanking god that there wasn't many pedestrians, he then looked back to Ryand and nodded to enter the building.

Ryan Caine

The teenage Rebel watched as Phantom subdued the officer with great precision. He looked around to see if anyone was there to witness this taking place. Gladly he sighed; no one saw. With that, Ryan dragged the Police Officer's body into a secluded place and went up a few steps of the main entrance, then stopped, and hesitated. He glanced over at Phantom and adjusted his sun-glasses. He smirked and then held the doorknob. It felt awefully cold, which made Ryan shudder slightly. He turned the knob and stepped in casually.

OOC: I'm going to revive things right now. So, remember the whole conflict here is Rebels, Programs (excluding those affiliated with the Merovingian), and Agent(s) are all fighting for one thing. This datapad that's filled with information to the Matrix and its computer codes. Now we should go our seperate ways here. Let's go "bend" the rules, if we must. Multitasking, so to speak.

Agent Stephens

The Agent watched as his superior, Arch Agent Riley, was preparing to be deleted. He frowned when he saw Riley give him a decent nod and then headed straight for the exit door. But before he placed his hand on the doorknob, Riley dispossessed his host. His body began to convulse, then the Agent left. His host body was replaced by a Police Officer who was rather disoriented at this time.

The Officer shook his head and rubbed his eyes. He looked around cautiously and met the eyes of Agent Stephens. They both never mentioned anything. The Officer looked away and left.

Stephens placed both his index and middle fingers to his earpeice and listened. The Matrix mainframe confirmed the deletion. Now Stephens is in control. No rules. No boundaries. Nothing. His rules. Well, he must follow the rules of the Matrix. He could only dodge bullets, move at fast speeds, endure much pain, superhuman strength, accurate aiming, etc. Why is he alone? There should be more to back him up.

Where was the Rogue Agent? Where the Hell was he? What is he doing? Is he planning something? What was his name? Oh yeah, it was O'Connor.

I remember him, Stephens thought to himself. The bastard ran away afraid of facing me.

The Agent listened again and heard of two Rebels breaking and entering the station. Trying to rescue the Rebels.

"I won't allow that to happen..." Stephens said in monotone.

OOC: To spice things up for the Brunhilda crew, I'm going to npc some street cops.

[b]IC: Forty-Seven, Cops[/b], [i]400 yards from that bridge we were trying to reach[/i].

They slammed into the tarmac of the road, bumped and skidded for a bit before the vehicle came to a rest.
Forty-Seven applied the hand brake and leaned back in the seat, regaining his breath. "Everybody okay back there?"

Some brown liquid splattere3d on the outsde of his window smelled strongly of coffee, which puzzled him, until an irate looking police officer turned up in his rear-view mirror, walking up his side of the van.

The familiar sky blue of his uniform blouse was ruined by a spreading splash of brown that stuck the fabric to the anti-stab vest beneath. Beyond, he could see another cop standing beside a radio car parked several metres behind the van.

Forty-Seven groaned. He was willing to bet that the officer would smell like his window, and with the river tantalizingly close and visible through the windscreen, this was inopportune as all heck.

He looked across at Rada, "Captain? How do you want me to play this?"

The officer arrived at the window, his voice filled with sarcasm and bitterness. "Where's the fire, buddy? Licence and registration. Oh yes, where are my manners? [i]Now[/i]."

Rada

"Where's the fire, buddy? Licence and registration. Oh yes, where are my manners? Now."

Rada took off her sunglasses and gave the police officer a look that, by all rights, should have frozen the air around him.

"I can drop an anvil on him." Rip suggested from the telephone the Russian was still clutching in one hand. Ignoring the Operator, Rada reached into the glove compartment and drew out a badge she'd coded herself. It was a replica of one used by this country's secret police. The captain had found this very useful, and had used it many times since she's taken command of a ship. Silently, she showed it to the policeman. The colour drained from his face.

"Is there something else you wish to see?" Rada asked icily.
