an NJO book, duology or trilogy with Boba Fett written by a good author though ( if the bastard's still alive )

Call it like NJO : Harder Merchandise or NJO : Hand of Fett or something... he would rock against the Vong and his ruthlessness would be so mad to read

Or maybe he could marry some chick, have a kid called Jango Jr. and train him in the arts of bounty hunter

And then magically, Jango Jr. would be force-sensitive and become a kick arse dark jedi bounty hunter

i like the idea of having Fett return if only for a bit part/plot device......but he isn't at his best when he is in the spotlight for long periods of time...his realm is the comics and short stories where he appears, does his thing, and then steps back into the darkness......the bhw is evidence of this......

however i would like to see him return...

It's best if writers stay away from Fett until after they have the solid information from Episodes II and III. There are enough continuity issues involving him as it is.

After II and III are out, there will be no need to pack Fett stories into the time after RotJ because the prequel era will be open. I'd much rather see a book about him in the time between the prequels and the OT.

 

Well fett did have a son and a wife, according to the gamer 6, in an incontinuity article.

 

And one of the Tales issues..I donno if that woman was his wife, though.

I thought Fett was dead. At the end of Tales of the Bounty Hunters, he is in a standoff with Han, and it didn't seem one would let the other out alive. And Han sure made it out with his life. So I always assumed he was dead. If not from that, then definately when Sernpidal blew up.

 

Fett and Han decided to call it even I think.

And I heard stories that Fett was on Sernpidal when the disaster was happening... in which EU source does it say that Fett was on Sernpidal?

Even if he was on the planet, I'd assumed that he probably escaped... he's not that stupid to stick around

 

Read Vector Prime. It's very clear that he's there.

The whole thing about Fett bein the mayor of Sernpidal is just a rumor that Gatherer made up like 2 years ago.

 

That would we cool if the Vong killed his wife and kids and started to fight back. That would be the only way i would want to see him back.

 

I definitely don't remember Fett in Vector Prime.

I do remeber the story in the tales book, but I thought it was tales of the new republic. He was an old man telling stories about when he was young or something like that. And he and Han did call it even and both walked away.

the Sernpidal thing was just a rumor. Fett did walk away from the confrontation in Last One Standing, we see him two years later in the YJK books.
