Star Wars: Battlefront has gone gold! It's coming out on Sept. 21, so forget the OT DVDs and let's wage war!!

On January 21st LucasArts revealed information about their upcoming SW RTS: Empire at War. The game will pit the Empire against the newly formed Rebellion, in the time period between Episodes III and IV, and will have simultaneous land and space battles. Hopefully it will rock, and will not be another Force Commander, which left many fans disappointed - incuding myself.

Today I bought the ROTS game (got my free poster too!) and I have to say Lucasarts outdid themselves. The game is really entertaining, and it has awesome movie clips incorporated into it. I didn't play it too much (only the intro), cause I don't want to get completely spoiled. But so far, so good.

The game also has soooooo many combos and extras, and a killer soundtrack including music from the old movies. It even has a "versus" mode which is pretty good.
