this will be what im getting first


Head and Chest (so i will need you nick first so we can get the eyes and voice box issue done and out of the way)

then Arms and hands will come next then the pelvis then the legs and feet then hes done and the painting weathering and wireing begins!

man this is going to be a big big project and i think i have to order paint from the UK unless Aaron found me some let me know here man and i need to figure out where to get the rubber matting for the stomach and the jumpsuit and then gloves ill ask the 3po guys and keep you all updated

 

An idea for the jumpsuit.... Why not just try what every other armor costume uses, under armour shirts?

 

Underarmor is good, another idea is a wetsuit. A lot of the STs use this one.

 

Nice. Thats the down side about UA... its not all one piece. Correct me if im wrong, but woulden't that suit make you really sweatty really fast? Thats the down side of the wetsuit.. its one piece, but, ick.

Then again, I could be toatally off. But, I have lots of UA, and messa like it. But I bet 3P0 needs a jumpsuit insted of pants and a shirt.

 

Underarmor good, wetsuit bad. Yes, the underarmor is two pieces, but it'll keep you cool and dry. The wetsuit will make you sweat very fast.

I'll see if I can dig up the thread from our old boards on what Tim Knapp suggested.

 

im prolly ordering my helemt this weekend sometime so that will get me started

UA is perfect and the 2 pieces will be hidden by the stomach section anyway

 

I should have an answer about the paint to you sometime next week.

 

bah cant order anything till after the 1st of the year oh well
