Oooo, Oooooo, I saw a new promo, only this time it actually showed scenes. Holy Clones Batman! There was a great scene with Obi-Wan and Grevious fighting on the roof of what looked like a hover train or something.

2 and a half weeks and counting! =P~

My name is Jonathan and I have cheap cable. Sigh.

Up until now, this hasn't been a problem. I don't care much for 95.2% of the crap on the boob tube...however (and this is a big however) this fall a new show comes on the TV Friday nights starting October 3rd...on the Cartoon Network!

Is anybody willing (and not just for my sake) to host Clone Wars viewing parties?

Good thing I actually went in this thread looking for something else :)

I do plan on putting the show on my DVR, I can save them for you and put them on DVD a few at a time.

And no Graco, I'm not particularly expecting the show to be very good. :p

My DVR is a computer, I built it myself :D

I wanted to have the flexibility to watch anything online on the TV as well, Hulu, Netflix etc. Plus no TIVO fees.

It does have a couple of bugs i'm still working out, it's not perfect, but very flexible.

I might just have to take you up on that as well, Michael. If they don't stream it, I'll buy you a batch of DVDs. :)

If you check out the "Daily Dose of Star Wars" widget-like thing at the bottom of the page, you can see the story on it.

It looks like 8 pm, but it doesn't say what time zone.

I think I got most of it, I was searching or it, commercials were playing & then STAR WARS: CLONE WARS - thought it was another commercial but wasn't so I pressed 'record'. I'll see how much I missed of it????

D'oh! I didn't get online last night, so I didn't know that there was something going on. Oops.

I was worried that CW was going to be scheduled against Sanctuary (the premieres conflict), but I think they're an hour apart on the regular schedule. (I don't have a special dual-tuner TiVo, so I can only record one thing at a time. :p And yeah, Sanctuary will also repeat later in the evening. It's just nice to catch it earlier.)

    Less than a week now!

Tivo boxes are supposed to have a way to hook up directly to a computer to transfer shows over. I think there's a program you can download free from tivo.com to do it. Converting them and burning to DVD requires a little more know-how and other software though I think.

If you have a Dish Network DVR, it's still possible, but it's a lot more tricky... :p :-B [face_skull]

Looks like there's two episodes on Friday to start off. A whole hour of Star Wars!

Who's up for a viewing party? I've only got a tube TV (a big one) but I'd be happy to host.

Yeah sure, just means I have to pick up all the loose toys floating around my house. I am sure they would love to see the collection as well.
