New Jersey It's that time of year again.....

Halloween is upon us!! This year, it's on a Saturday. I am taking November 1st off because I always enjoy Halloween to the fullest extent, since it's my favorite holiday. Gary and I do plan on attending the Greenwich Village parade as we've done the past 2 years. Is anyone else planning on going? If not, what are your plans?

I will be going to the parade again this yea, and It's Sunday Marie, not Sat.

So, I'll be looking forward to marching. If I can get my helmet and Jumpsuit done, I'll actually march in the parade as an Imperial!

Well for the first time in four years, I won't be in New York. I would love to be, but I'll be doing Halloween LA style.

 

Does the LA Halloween involve Rainbows and a chorus of "It's Raining Men"?

 

I thought that was the Trenton parade?? Or is it Asbury??

I have that costume!!! I was wearing it earlier when I got home.

 

I'll be doing my usual rounds of Salem, but for me it's down the street Even if you couldn't be here for Halloween, I'd recommend coming up for a weekend in October to see the sights.

 

I've been to the Witch Museum, and I really enjoyed it. I'd LOVE to go see it during Halloween!

 

We had our Oct meet in Salem last year. Only 4 of us showed up. But I still gave a nice walking tour of the city.
If anyone heads up here, lemme know and I'll see if I'm available to be your tour guide lol. If not, I can always offer suggestions.

 

Actually, Halloween is on a Sunday this year.

I too will be taking the day off on Nov. 1st, as Halloween is my bar-none favorite time of year(next to Dragon*Con ) and I march in the Greenwich Village Parade every time.

So yes, I will be there too! I'll try to "scout" you guys out, although I've no Imperial costume. In fact, I may try an elf look this year, being as I've been appearing in vampire threads since I started marching in the darn thing years ago...

As it is, it's my backup...and if worse comes to worse, it'll be the tux look(since I know it's Marie's favorite ).

Additionally, I think I'll let slip here that for three weeks in October, I will be appearing with friends of mine in three off-broadway shows, two of which are vampire-related(part of a series, in fact..."Tales of the Black Veil IV and V") and one of which is a romantic comedy about love and marriage from a "guy" perspective entitled "Last Man Standing".

"Tales V" will be playing Halloween week, but while there is a matinee performance on Halloween, I might have an understudy play whatever part I win, as there's NO way I'm missing that Parade.

The vampire plays will be at a place near the Broadway section of NYC called the Producer's Club, while "Last Man" will be at the Sanford-Meisner Theater, which is across the street from Chelsea Piers.

If anyone is interested in seeing one or more of these shows, please PM me.

Otherwise, I hope to see you guys n' gals on the Parade route!
