LOL, hilarious backstory for his function and his loose wire jokes...

 

Master, I didn't know you wrote fan fiction!

OK I did know you wrote, but I didn't know you wrote it well...

My favorite lines were:

?By leaving a trail of fire in his wake??

This made me laugh like I never laughed before:

?Oh, Anakin, I hope you?re not ? ?

?Oh, I am.? Giddy as a small boy, he begins attaching the oil pump and blowtorch within Artoo?s chosen compartments.

?Don?t you think that?s overkill??

?Hey, he doesn?t have a lightsaber, all right? He needs a little more to make up for that.?

I wish more stories had dialogue like that.

I loved this! Whoever bumped this up, I'm glad they did. I've always wondered exactly how Artoo was fitted with all his special modifications - and came by his personality.



And Obi-wan wondering why Artoo is so attached to his, his reluctance to apologize for the "loose wire" comment - hilarious.

The Anakin/Obi banter was great too.

This was fantastic. Loved the interaction and banter between the three. Artoo wanting to follow Obi-Wan around and Obi-Wan unintentionally hurting his feelings and having to appologize were great. I'd quote my favorite lines but there are so many!

 

?Oh?? This doesn?t sound entirely good to Obi-Wan, as he doesn?t really want to be walking in front of Artoo when the droid decides something needs to be attacked.

I laughed out loud at this part! I loved it!color]
