Okay, everyone. It's time for everyone's list of their top ten favorite movies of 2002.

This is going to be a tough one, but it will certainly be interesting to see everyone's list.

    Let the debates begin...

Well, I guess I'll start this off, perhaps with a few surprises. My decisions are based on my opinion of the overall movie and how much I enjoyed each one. Also, I have yet to see Gangs of New York or Catch Me if you Can, but I don't expect them to beat anything listed here. With that said, here's the list:

    1- Signs
    2- Sum of all Fears
    3- LOTR: The Two Towers
    4- Frailty
    5- Reign of Fire
    6- Equilibrium
    7- Titanic 2 ;) (I mean, Star Wars: Clones)
    8- Eight Legged Freaks
    9- One Hour Photo
    10- Ice Age

I also have a few that I would like to give Honorable Mentions as they were very close in the running and I feel that they at least deserved mentioning:

    The Ring
    Harry Potter: Chamber of Secrets
    The Road to Perdition
    We Were Soldiers

I figure I'll just give my list for now and if I need to explain or defend anything on it, I'll do so later.

Ahem. Sorry about that, I was momentarily possessed. Anyway, here's my list.

    1. LotR--Two Towers
    2. Episode II (in spite of all my criticism--it does have lightsabers in it. ;)
    3. Sum of All Fears
    4. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
    5. We Were Soldiers
    6. Reign of Fire
    7. Die Another Day
    8. Star Trek: Nemesis
    9. Death to Smoochy
    10. Red Dragon

I haven't seen Gangs or Equilibrium yet and it's possible one or both of those might make their way into the top ten.

Dude, you did it again! Last year in your 'looking forward to' list, you didn't have SW, and you don't have it listed anywhere on your list this year (good or bad). What's up with that? Surely it falls SOMEWHERE on your list *god knows everything else does....* ;)

Ah, I have a last minute change to my list!

Stone, Mike, Jeff, and I went to see Catch Me if you Can tonight, and it was surprisingly great! I'm a little skeptical that Spielberg actually directed it, as it really differs from anything he's ever done, but it's a great movie.

Anyway, my new list goes like this:

    1. Two Towers
    2. Episode II
    3. Sum of All Fears
    4. Harry Potter
    5. Catch me if you can
    6. We Were Soldiers
    7. Reign of Fire
    8. Die Another Day
    9. Star Trek Nemesis
    10. Death to Smoochy

Sorry Red Dragon, you missed the cut this time.
