Fun ITT post the stupidest thing currently in your FB feed

Couples posting on each others' FB pages about how they're so happy they moved in together. Are you serious? You're going to use FB instead of, like, actually talking to the person you're sharing a home with now?

It must be one of those may-mays young people always talk about.

 

I can't just pick one right now but it's probably my old Russian prof's ridiculous ex-pat pro-Putin postings. There are many. Like, if Russia is so great, why are you still here?

 

Uh...I'm sure this is to use the public nature of FB to let others know they're happy. I doubt these people are not telling each other they are happy to move in with each other to their faces.

 

Yeah but I mean, wouldn't you just use a status update or something? "Hey folks, we moved in together and we're super happy!" Messaging each other just seems like an invitation for everyone to observe their relationship, which, hey, if that's what they want, okay. It's inane, sure.

 

That is what they want.

What's the difference if they make a status tagging a person or posting on that person's wall? What's it matter to you? Why is that stupid?

 

A friend commented on all of the paranoia and conspiracy theory she sees. I suggested to her, since she's a published author, we do a New Century Illuminatus! Trilogy based on FB. It could be fun.

Secondly, I've never bought into the whole "being left-handed is so special & cool!" thing... even as a left-handed person, I don't fully get it.

 

I'm with EF on this... obviously there'll be annoying things -hence this thread, DUH- about the Facebook experience, but the inherent socialness of it? Yeah, that's not troublesome for me, and that specific criticism is baffling.

 

We need a Fecal Force FB page.

 

i mean facebook in general is pretty annoying. it's basically made for narcissists. it's better in small doses.

 

My stepmom annoyingly posts like a teenage girl 2 b cul, b-cuz she's having a midlyphe crisis or sumpin. Her latest thing is spelling funny, "funni"... drives me nuts.
