Let's be honest: all of the threads lately have been awful. Terrible, shameful, abysmal, utterly without hope. People say TJCCINAGAIUTB for a reason. This thread is a place for us to brainstorm ideas for threads that will help us get back to the quality we had back in the "good old days". GO.
Can a mandatory requirement be imposed on parody threads that they must be witty? I refer the JC to @jp-30's excellent thread: "Journey: An unexpected habit" for further reference.
The idea was to improve the quality and fend off the tide of infectious noobery sweeping across the JC; not to indulge your wildest fantasies.
I just wrote out a lengthy explanation of the impractical of using a wifflebat to smack DTJ in the bits, with some more effective alternatives, but then I realized it made me sound like a sicko. All the same, the thought counts. They were magnificent alternatives.
Debo has posted a new nostalgic toy thread. Anyone who complains there are no good threads can get the hell off the boat.
A user with a reputation, yet unaware of what behavior has brought on said reputation, posts a typical thread in earnest, everyone jumps on them mocking and belittling them, and they lash back in frustration wondering where everything went wrong. Those seem to keep people occupied for a while and simultaneously scares off anyone unfamiliar with the personal histories of people involved.
