I was going to leave work early and set up at a cafe but now some SOB set up a 4:30 PM meeting.

 

I just ended up cleaning cat vomit.

 

Even though I posted about seeing the eclipse just 45 minutes before it happened I forgot about it and missed it.

The flights I wanted to book to India now that I have my visa are apparently sold out. Ugh.

 

I accidentally bought a coin for $300 at auction and had to compose a nicely worded e-mail to get out of buying it.

I as looking for a lot of 3 old Colombian coins, which I bought for family Christmas presents.
Of course then I got sucked into watching the rest of the auction and at some point there was a cool looking Chinese coin and I just hit the bid button. I don't really know what I was thinking; hadn't even glanced over to see the minimum bid.
Sure enough mine turned out to be the highest bid and I was like, "No, no, somebody else bid!"
Seconds later I was the proud owner of a $300 1920 Chinese Republic coin I didn't want.

So luckily they allowed me a pass, probably only because I've bought stuff from them over the years.

 

TMZ was replaced by a World Series preview.

 

I watched a reality show about Mini-Me shopping for a house.

 

i accidentally poured too much dressing on my salad.

 

It was too ******* cold to ride to work today. I had to take my car.

 

Ran 12 miles last night, today there was a fire drill at work and I had to walk down 11 flights of stairs.

 

Thanks to ESPN, I've had "Return of the Mack" stuck in my head all frigging day.

 

Another exercise related one. The gym rats were making a lot of funny noises when they were lifting. One sounded like a dying bird. It was hard to concentrate on my own workout and keep from laughing.

 

i thought I would have to work tomorrow so I hit Barnes and Noble earlier this week. Turns out I do not have to work tomorrow so now I have no plans.
