Reality TV largely makes my head hurt, God bless the inventor of the Roku. For some odd reason I love Pawn Stars though, probably because the Old man reminds me of some of the people I grew up around.

 

$52 on groceries this week.

My sister did that once and shot a bite of chicken patty out of her nose. It was awful. I'm sure it was worse for her.

Cannot ever recall seeing a G movie.

You are too tired to work because you were up to late binge watching Daredevil and wishing Luke Cage and the 2nd season of Jessica Jones were out already. Finally a Marvel universe I like.

 

Ugh! The 2 of the 3 HDMI ports for flat screen TV that I bought about 10 years ago no longer work. This is a first world crisis!

The heater in my dad's pool won't shut off, so now the water is too hot to swim in.

 

My free company-bought lunch today, which I get every day, was from a place I'm less than crazy about.

 

My main PC died on Tuesday - wouldn't boot up at all. Just a black screen and the power light on. So it's in for repair and I'm using my old netbook which has nowhere near the power of the laptop and also has a small (10 inch or so) screen. I hope the laptop is repairable 'cos I don't want to go to Windows 10 with a new machine.

 

None of my local IMax theaters are playing X-Men Apocalypse, but rather showing Alice Through the Looking Glass. Now I have to settle on watching X-Men on just a Real 3D theater screen.

 

the digital antenna I got for my Roku tv is a pos. I have to move it constantly and play with the cable every other time I change the channel. I just need to get off my assets and return it.

 

The completion of the remodeling of the front pedestrian entrance to my townhome complex is a week behind schedule.

 

My Logitech solar powered keyboard got damaged via spilt drink and now I am using a $15 wireless keyboard that had keys that are annoying loud.

The previous solar powered one was a delight to use.

Waiting till I can afford to get another.

I got spoilt with the nice soft quiet keys I loved.

 

Well, my problem might be solved. The repair place managed to fix my laptop and hopefully I can pick it up at the store on Monday or Tuesday. (I know now what a motherboard northbridge does - or failed to do, in my case..)

 

Every once in a while there comes along a Senate poster n00b who is way too much fun to jump on and destroy because they're obviously some 20-something or younger. The other day we had one and then he went away.
