JCC ITT we complain about our 1st world problems...

For the time being, Dish Network no longer carriers KTLA, which will affect habits for me & co-workers during breaks/lunches.

 

I want to buy a proper coffee machine. One with all the fiddling with grinding coffee, packing it down, a steam Thingie on the side to make Cappuccino foam.

My wife wants a one touch machine. Real coffee, but you hit a button and that's it.

I understand her logic. She just wants coffee. But I like fiddling with gadgets.

 

We have to watch a one hour anti-harassment video at work and it is as horribly boring as you're imagining.
After 10 minutes they should just stop it and tell you you'll have to see the whole thing if you ever harass someone.

 

I find they create a good community incentive to discourage harassment, because if anyone so much as farts in the direction of a violation that makes you watch that video again everyone will gang up and club them to death.

 

At least she should write a song dissing you.

 

I dropped a side of ranch on the floor. If not for the lid it would have splattered everywhere.

 

I'm torn between supporting staff at Gawker and feeling like their editorial department really needs to read some basic ethics guidelines.

 

There's a particular version of Marlboro that I'd wish to try, but it's only available a standard-size cigarette (I prefer the 100's).

Thanks to the class action lawsuit settlement, I found 8 pairs of free ticket vouchers in my Ticketmaster account. However

1. I don't go to that many concerts. I don't even remember going to 8 of them at least not through Ticketmaster. How am I going to use them all?!
2. Ticketmaster has not yet finalized the list of events that are eligible. I'm wary because this all seems too good to be true,

I had wanted an icy coffee today, so I bought one. And yet, very sadly, my car was so hot because it was so hot in my car that it melted very soon after.

Spent the entire day doing various homework assignments around the kids and kids' stuff (like taking them out to do things). Just finished a paper. Felt satisfied and accomplished. Cleared all of tomorrow to take the kids out again to the pool and a movie. Then glimpsed at syllabus and noticed that I also have a thesis due.

 

I did too. I received the e-mail in May and I discarded it as soon as I read "$2.25" because in my experience that's the kind of thing class action settlements amount to. That's all I thought I got until I read an article about it this weekend. Did you look in the "Active Vouchers" section of your account?

 

2.25 is a lot of money. you should probably hire a lawyer just in case

 

Oh hey! Two tickets! I checked Active Vouchers after I saw your post and I'm pretty sure they weren't there yesterday. I guess the problem now will be to find how to use them

 

I'm tired because last night I stayed up late to watch a Dr. Who I had already seen.
