JCC ITT we complain about our 1st world problems...

Hearing bad Irish accents today.

 

There's a con going on that I get free tickets to, 5 minutes from my job... and I'm stuck at work.

 

I am replacing movies I sold last year.

 

I keep trying to tell myself you don't need buy anymore cardigans.

 

Was having an awesome dream about taking a cross-country road trip with Steve Buscemi, Harvey Keitel, Eminem & Shaq, but then I woke up.

 

But they're so soft and comfy!

Screwed up my joke (cashmere / not cardigan. Though a cardigan can be made from cashmere...)

 

Not in the mood to be playing cheerleader for everyone I care about today...but I tell myself if you're positive, maybe they will be too.

 

My older sisters and I were not told our father passed away last June and were omitted from the obituary. Typical of our step mother whose massive ego and need to control left not only the building but the solar system too.

So I am trying to remain calm and positive while my sisters are completely going Marvin the Martian right now. How do you process how utterly cold that is?

 

I still have to do my taxes.

 

JFC, Master_Lok, that absolutely sucks. My condolences to you and your sisters. That's just completely cruel for your stepmother to do.

Juliet316, heels1785 and I Are The Internets: thank you very much. If anything, this may bring the three of us closer together. My stepmom is the classic evil stepmother, no exaggeration. She hated us even while she was engaged to my dad. As per the obit, "Dad was "lucky" to have stepmom working as his office manager." I will remember the times my dad made me laugh when I was little and that I inherited his stubborn determination and warped sense of humor.

So my first person complaint is: bugger off to the stupid dramas that people pull...

 

I had a small sliver. It took me like 4 minutes to get it out. 4 minutes.

 

Supermarket I go to on Sundays has been repaving the parking lot in stages. Parking has been a pain in the butt for at least a month. Right now the section where you can park has a ton of 'mother-baby' and handicapped spots and not a lot for us regular parkers. I'll be glad when it's done. Only good thing is I tend to go right before they open so there are still spaces available.

 

My spring break is almost over.

 

Why can't it be Saturday morning?

 

People I know are complaining about daylight savings time on social media, and I'm venting about it here because I value the extra sunlight after a dreary day of work.

 

My kids kept me so busy at the con we were at this weekend I forgot to buy myself anything

 

It took a while to find parking today.

 

That moment you finish stretching and realize now you actually have to work out.

 

Yesterday I went to get Brats for dinner and accidentally picked up meatballs instead.

 

I don't think the eggs I pulled out of my carton of Extra Large Eggs were in fact extra large. What's wrong with this friggin chickens that they can't make the eggs the same size? They're cage free! What more to they want?

 

Same here. It didn't make much difference to me when I lived in London but now I live in a rural area, having a couple of hours of daylight after work means I can actually go out and do stuff. I guess it means I'll be driving to the gym in the dark again (early morning) but I can live with that.

Daylight savings = awesome
