JCC ITT we complain about our 1st world problems...

I don't think I've got enough time to fully catch up on last week's Sternthology during tonight's shift before tomorrow's new show begins (at 4am PST).

 

Once again, I am hungry and full at the same time.

 

UGH Same. I ate too much for lunch and I'm still not quite hungry enough for dinner.

 

Overheard on this train a few moments ago: "That wasn't a total eclipse, we just went through a tunnel."

 

Okay, why can't commuters on my rails be that delightfully vapid.

 

Sending out job applications suuuuucks

 

LOL bought Eero WiFi mesh system to replace old Airport Express router. Eero will not work without the Airport Express bridged to it... pffft. Back goes the Eero and I have to wait for the refund to buy a newer Airport Express.

Well I did it. I quit my job. Just in time for SDCC too, kind of on purpose, so I spent all last week there. And then started my new job today.

 

That is ever so first world.

 

My goal was to send out 15 job applications this morning. I could only send out 14 because one of them asked me how many years I had been in Law School.

 

There was a new McLaren cruising down the road. I was not its driver or owner.

 

I had a computer crash and my chrome browser reset everything back to almost exactly how I had it the day I first downloaded it.

 

I can sympathize.
As someone who went through wiping my computer(s) and backups last Fall because of viruses and hacks, can I sympathize (partially my fault, partially Yahoo.) Lost a lot of stuff; but most of it, I do not miss.

and my first person complaint, Why can't life be as easy as setting up Apple stuff? New router set up in under 10 minutes - easy as pie; (sadly not pizza pie.)

 

I return to work tonight, after getting a haircut/bread trim (1st one since last year ) over my weekend, so I know it's going to be a chorus of "Hey, you look different!" and/or 'Whose the new guy?! Ha!!" from enough of my co-workers. Good grief.

 

I am not a fan of James Cameron outside of his first two movies and yet...NECA is going to release this in November. That's awesome; a really cool tribute.

Talk about Meta in the best of ways.

Of course, the thought of buying it is crossing my mind...

 

My auntie asked me what sexting was and how can she do it...

 

because washing machine is an old piece of meh, can't handle 3 towels and a denim jacket, so I have to do two loads and waste more of my day with that.

 

My backlog for movies I own is unreal.

 

Why is it almost 10 o'clock on Sunday night and not Friday night?!?

 

Every time I'm close to moving on, my ex girlfriend sends me a casual message that ends up ruining my day because it gets me thinking about and missing her.

It's becoming quite the oddly timed **** block.
