JCC ITT we complain about our 1st world problems...

I feel very blah. My shirt is damp from the rain and they have the AC at near arctic levels to counter the humidity.

 

I have to work two and a half days this week before getting to the four day weekend.

 

******* allergies. I'm going to scratch my eyes out.

 

I'm hungry but I don't want to get up!

 

A mosquito got into my room last night just as I was starting to fall asleep, and seeing as I was completely covered from the neck down by my bed sheets, the little ****** decides to bite me ON THE FACE not once... but FOUR TIMES.

CURSE YOU MOSQUITOS!!!!! I WILL DESTROY ALL OF YOU!!!!!

 

I was going to sit by the pool but its cloudy.

 

There is a big dead, bird outside my window.
I can't decide if it's less sad to pick up when it's all soft and dangly or when it has stiffened over the night.

1st world problem number two: I couldn't find a less awkward way to write that last sentence.

 

I can't think of any first world problems today.

 

Get rid of it asap because it's going to attract millions of flies and larva. I have tiny birds that die outside my place all the time, we have...that problem.

 

i accidentally opened two beers.

 

Denny's doesn't serve soup after 10pm, which wrecked my late meal plans about 2 hours ago.

 

My iced french vanilla latte from Dunkin Donuts doesn't taste half as good as iced beverages from Starbucks

 

I had a salad for lunch to try and be healthy. Now I'm hungry.

 

I can't get as much news because all the 24/7 news channels are covering the Travon Martin/Zimmermann trial.

 

A Bran chapter. Ugh.

 

I spent an hour trying to figure out how to fix my dydl cache, and it turns out there's a simple sudo prompt for it.

 

This crossword puzzle isn't as easy as I thought it'd be.

 

I had to wash my dishes by hand because the dishwasher was on the fritz.

 

This is especially bad with CNN. I mean they've already got their sister station HLN (formerly Headline News) covering the damn thing 24/7. Why not leave the trial coverage there and focus on say Wildfires or Egypt?

 

People set off fireworks in ~ the month preceding the Fourth and the month after. It's unbelievably dumb-- and it's pretty dumb to like useless, dangerous things that pollute with noise, light, and smoke in the first place-- but at least I can fathom it. I can't, however, fathom people setting them off in the daytime. It's like, "Hey, I am really wasting my time and money!"

Or, I guess, "Hey, I'm an idiot and I'm still wasted!"

 

I read Fleet of Worlds, I am reading Juggler of Worlds, I went to the store to buy Destroyer of Worlds and Betrayer of Worlds and hopefully Fate Of Worlds, but only Betrayer of Worlds was there.

 

Darth Guy I'm not understanding this bizarre aversion to handling explosives while intoxicated you seem to have. Surely a life without potential loss of limb is not a life worth living?
