Friends, there comes a time when those in need can be helped by you, the generous, the beautiful.

This is a Sunseeker Predator 82:

    [image=http://www.eminence-group.com/i/u/6005158/i/Sunseeker_Predator_82frnt.jpg]

It is 82 feet long and goes 35 knots...that's 42 mph for you non-nautical types. If you want to know more you may go to this Sunseeker specs page

But what will become of this yacht? It needs a home. That's why with your help I will make sure it is a happy boat in Miami Beach:

This is my face: :( help me turn my frown up side down: :D

    Please give. Won't you?

You want to do your part in contributing to global warming and fuel consumption, I take it.

The engines used in yachts burn cleaner than auto engines. However, part of the funds you provide will go to outfitting the engines of the Sunseeker into a hybrid to at least double its fuel efficiency. You see? You will provide me with the means to contribute to the well being of the planet!

I'll just need your SSN and your credit card number, current address, and a half-used hair care product from your mothers bathroom.

What we'll do is get the 501st Legion together and have fundraisers on my behalf. O:)

Those yachts are poor quality. You want to go for a better one.

All these years we've waited to find out what "Vader's Lament" actually was, and now we find out it's this?

    "I don't have a yacht?" :p

Oh, the anticlimax. Luke's not going to bother to tell his sister, even if he was right. I mean, maybe he'll think about text messaging her about it or something, but he'll forget. You know how he is. :p

Or you could send me money for getting a higher quality yacht, I will still go with a Sunseeker and then use the extra funds for the Montie Wants A Beach House Fund. I'm always thinking!

It's better than Lucas handing out Midiclorians though isn't it? :D

The thing with yachts is not the expense of the boats themselves, but the parking fees (you have to pay expensive fees for a docking slip, either to a city or a yacht club that owns the marina) and the maintenance.

Let's say you bought a decent yacht for $800,000. That's a one-time deal, but maintenance can work out to about $150,000ish a year and docking is about $50,000 a year depending on where you live.

$800,000 for a yacht? No, no. The 82 foot Sunseeker is something over 5 MILLION. And $200,000 a year for the rest is a part of the MWAYF. I figure we'll(I'll) need about Ten Million Dollars. 5 or 6 mil for the boat itself, then the rest to attribute to interest that i can live off of and pay for the use of the Yacht.

See? I have this all thought out. [face_flag]

I said decent, not 'good'. I'm trying to save you money, since my previous post dismissing the Sunseeker prompted you to ask me for money. :p

Are you suggesting that I settle for a yacht that is only $800,000??? I'm starting to think that perhaps your heart is not in this endevour. :_|

Well, if you do get a bigger one then you are obligated to hold regular yacht parties. This is a social requirement. You'd have to invite all of the jcchat people over.

Wouldn't those be better on speedboats? That way the driver could make quick turns and stuff to make the fight more exciting.

Since I will try to use the yacht to get wimmins there will be no monkey knife fights. Though if you sneak such an event onboard put me down for $20.
