If I get you a paper sailboat will you quit whining?
WELL, Christmas is on it's way. You know Dasher and Dancer and...ok screw the animals.
What a great gift of giving it would make.
Ahem. Once again Christmas is on its way.
Isla Mujeres. With yachts!

Nice that a little green was thrown in, if only for lighting. I am waiting for someone to take flexiable solar panels and incorproate them into a sail and have the collected energy plug into an electric engine so you get a motorcruiser fueled by the wind and Sun which would help make sailing faster.
We watched some show about the most expensive yachts in the world and I thought of this thread.
Am I glad you guys did not get me a yacht yet! Because I woud have missed out on [link=http://megayachtglobal.blogspot.com/2011/12/infiniti-100r-design.html]THIS[/link]
The smaller versions might be ok too which you can find [link=http://infinitiyachts.com/range.html]HERE[/link]
So. Christmas is over. The economy is improving. Yep.
How about an airboat instead:
that lady's paper is getting all wet.
I'm not afraid to go cheap.
Oh my goodness. All the images are gone. Well I can't have people not seeing the goal of their donations.
SO, the latest Celebration is over, it is not yet the Christmas shopping season, my birthday is coming up. Donate to me, the needy.
Sometimes it's the remote look of it.
Can I just note the hilarity of someone whose virtual only contributions to the political thread are complaints about "the rich" creating a thread dedicated to the worship of yachts.
You can hate the rich and still want a yacht IMO.
The guys on Mythbusters built a boat out of paper and it lasted quite a while. Don't know if it would be sea-worthy, tho.
And the Haiwaiians made boats using the dug-out canoe method. You can add a catamaran for more stability.
Don't be afraid to go exotic.(world record sailboat speed in just 25 kts of wind they went just shy of 60 knots).
Petit St. Vincent only recently reopened to public visitation. I deserve to be there.
Please don't forget it is easier to qualigy for hookah diving than scuba so please figure the cost into your donations.
Don't be afraid to go green with solar powered boats.
The latter not only reminds me of the Eclipse SSD but it can go 30 knots.
I wish to make a contribution:
Hmmm, I was thinking Mighty Slicer Of The Greatest Wave Created By The Gods. Buuuuut "Ma Boat" ain't bad either.
While Mighty Slicer Of The Greatest Wave Created By The Gods is a fine name, my thinking behind Ma Boat is so you can have the same conversation over and over again.
"Good Day to you Montie! And where are you off to today, young man?"
"I'm going to have a mountain of bacon, then I'm going to Ma Boat."
"You have a boat? How wonderful! What's this fine vessel's name?"
"Yes, your boat. What's it's name?"
"Yes, your ****ing boat. What's it's ****ing name?!?!"
You can do this over and over until someone beats your head in with a tack hammer.
