Gorillaz. I have just acquired their new album (which I don't know if it's new or not, since I'm not sure when the release date is/was). It is full of more win than even the first album. I rejoice.
It's new as of tomorrow. I can see Jesus of bands for the Gorillaz (though I'd say that honor to goes to the Replacements). Definitely looking forward to Plastic Beach. Glad to hear it's good.
Yeah. I very much did not like the single when I first saw the video, but listening to it with the album I feel the opposite.
Here I was expecting to see a thread about the new Burzum album. [image=http://silenceinarchitecture.files.wordpress.com/2009/03/photo19.jpg]
I've got their 1st two albums (very out of the norm for my usual musical tastes) and am looking forward to this one.
The Snoop Dogg stuff was pretty snazzy. [image=http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v373/jeblataug/INTERWEB/genera/gorillaz_Plasticbeach.jpg]
Nope sorry, The Beatles were the god of bands to Zeppelin's Jesus of bands. That claim to fame was well filled long before even 1980. Edit: let alone Pink Floyd- hel-lo!

Seb just had to provoke me to pull this out. [image=http://img706.imageshack.us/img706/1282/poisonlookwhatthecatdra.jpg]
Finally purchased the CD (which was about $5 cheaper than buying it through iTunes). It's bliss. Especially Empire Ants. Does anyone know how to find the booklet / liner notes on gorillaz.com?
