Amph ITT We Discuss Where Sci-Fi and Fantasy Got it Right/Wrong

Cars with folding wings on them have been around for decades. Well before the making of Back to the Future one. That's not really what they were talking about.

 

How is your one going, valyn? Still airworthy?

 

Star Wars got space travel development right, took humanity 30,000 years and thats with alien help. And Earth has had 50's in Earth orbit sooo basicly 29,950 years before easy inter steller travel?

 

With the news about United States women being allowed into ground combat, it kinda makes me wonder if things between the sexes will evolve to where things like that co-ed shower scene in Starship Troopers will really happen.

 

I'd guess by the 2100s that would be pretty normal. By then all the kinks of men and women in the military should be worked out, if not sooner.
