..it was so hot today, that we bought ice cream from Dairy Queen, and it was pretty much melted before we got home..and it was only 4 minutes away.

 

It has rained today. It rained almost every day of June.
New England is caught in a monsoon.

It was 85 degress F outside last I knew (29 degress C for you others) but it is hotter now.

It's 93 F now. With the humidity its a lot hotter though.

 

It rained here again today.

It was -1C this morning. That's 30F for the weird people who don't use C.

I hate winter here. There's no wind, rain, snow.. just dry frozen cold.

Yes, we also have a midwinter Christmas.

 

I bet it would get confusing if you moved over here or something then.

 

I spent many years in England, and it really felt more natural to have Christmas in the middle of winter - as it is a winter themed holiday. It never got confusing, but coming back here having Christmas in summer just doesn't feel right.

The only time I ever got confused was telling north from south. Having grown up where the sun is in the northern sky did catch me out suddenly having the sun in the southern sky.

After several days of over 30° Celsius it's supposed to stay under 25 today.

It's not bad here. 80s during the day and down in the 60s at night.

 

It's a bit cold and cloudy.

 

Its depressing - gloomy and wet and windy...

We even have had thunder...

 

We've been fluctuating between cold and moderate. It's basically typical weather for this time of the year.
