Erm just a quick point here, where on your census form did it give you the option of ENGLISH for your nationality ?

I noticed British/Scottish, British/Welsh, British/Irish and even British/Other. Yes we are all nations in British Isles but hey I'm ENGLISH first, British second m8.

Great Britain, seperate nations but always together, my vision of a better world.

    The name says it all!

I don't think a septic could fully understand the difference between being Scottish, Welsh or English.

Granted, I am British, but I consider myself Welsh first and foremost.

So you don't believe in Great Britian as a concept, don't like the Welsh and Scottish or don't understand what Britian is?

Sorry, i'm just trying to understand?

Whether or not you like the concept of a united Britain, you are part of it.

I think Britain needs to be more Britain and less divivided

After all, we could really flourish in sport if we had more GB teams.

Look at football, Imagine the like of Bellamy and Giggs teamed up with Beckham and Rooney and Lampard, it would be an immensely powerful team (plus it would solve England's left wing problem)

After all, I hardly see Scotland or Wales achieving much in football on their own

We do it with Tennis and Olympic sports, so why not with our big national sports?

I for one would like to volunteer to cut Lord Wiz down the middle!

A good lightsaber slice and we'll soon see if he's a stick of St. George rock. :)

Richie, the only British player who'd improve the England team (on paper, at least) is Giggs - and he's English anyway.

Then again, Michael Owen is Welsh:p

I'm British. I have English/Welsh/Scottish and Irish ancestors. I hate these topics, I feel like I'm unwanted anywhere :p

That said, England and Wales will always be special to me because I have spent so much of my time here, and all my happy memories are here :D

That said, within the English I feel definately Northern, and within Northerners I'm from Merseyside. Within Merseysiders I keep my mouth shut cos I'm from Formby.
