I dunno. This tune is pretty good but I'm not sure if these guys will ever catch on. The video seems a bit over produced.

Care to elaborate? These 'discussions' as hinted at in the thread title are sadly lacking.

 

Sound and music was strange, and the demonic kids with the demon coming out of the TV, is not strange? yeah it is. Not my type of video, neither is it anything I want to watch again. I don't care how "well recieved" it was by critics or how high it was rated on the music video charts. Still strange and not for me at all. So my current rating still stands. Give it your own rating if you want. The title does say "We" rate. So rate.

 

Quality electronic music with a horror film vibe. The video supports this with a combination of disturbing, quickly cut visual images which ultimately form a simple, cohesive horror narrative that matches the tone of the music. The production values aren't bad, and I really dig the way the cuts resemble crude VHS edits, which adds to the disjointed feeling that the video should, and does, have.

8/10. Definitely better than that Miley Cyrus garbage you gave a 4.

Unfortunately, I've caught clips of most of her stuff. Bad Romance just seemed wicked all around, Telephone was too porny, Alejandro too dark. It's easy to read bad stuff into all that, I don't think Gaga believes in making tame/classy videos.

Sometimes people label it art, but I just draw a line at a certain point when it becomes tasteless and all about shock value.

 

I'm sure you'll like some traditional stop motion animation better, Arlon.

 

so you're afraid of things you don't understand? why don't you take a moment and try to recognize the artistic expression behind the piece, and value it for the message the author is attempting to get across? open your mind, man. learn something new. intuit a message in a way you see fit. believe in the arts.

Commenting as I watch it: Again not a fan of the death metal genre. And what's with the self-saw like scenarios of suicide? What is this the BME pain olympics just toned down? And the sand over the blue bodies? What now they're aliens? Muted it. 0/10
