Okay, I know I can just edit my last post, but on MSn they were talking about this video by Rebecca Black.

On google it says its the worst ever. Listening to it...I don't know if its really really bad, but it is awkwardly bad. Not sure if I'd rather listen to this or Justin Bieber...probably this. At least I know it won't get stuck in my head. 1/10 (maybe)Anyone else heard of this?

I liked it. Somewhat corny, yet it fit. 10/10

From reading the comments, aren't those a bunch of porn stars? Blah. The song itself is blah. 2/10

I don't get it....you said you only "liked" the video and even called it corny but it still gets a perfect score?

Compared to the second video yes.

Some things can be corny in a good way. Like Johnny Bravo.

I demand that @poor yorick rate the video, mostly because I think it would make him laugh.

10/10, did not see the end coming. I always thought the song was kinda creepy, but this video redeems it.

Yes the song itself is a little weird, but the video gives it a whole different meaning. Great ending.

I don't listen to much country, but this is a favorite.

....ok seriously I knew this thread existed, but it's weird when I just thought of it a few days ago.

Do you people read minds? Work for NSA?

    Ok...well since I started it.

@solojones The style reminded me of an older film, combined of course with spy saga James Bond and Judge Dredd. Twist ending. A bit random for a villian working a mundane thing. But hilarious that being a huge evil villain yet a family man. Total opposite reality. But an archetype if how a villain-good guy relationship is in some ways more important to them than anything else. You know what, I liked it. It's silly, yet knows it.

I guess I'll do this again. After @Sarge I'll post a video that I will review

@Sarge again older style film. Country parts were good, song was interesting. Not sure about intent per se. I get she's goong on, he's worried about it being over. Eh. The song was better than the video. Didn't strike me. I'm not saying it doesn't have a place, but it's nothing to me. I see the story element, its coherent and its point so for a music video it does what it does. It's not about whether I like it or not, just rating the video itself.

Okay so I'll post one for today on my part.

Ok Go is awesome. Everything about this video is awesome. Especially since a part was only filmed in like 6 seconds and got slowed down. How do you even do that?!?!

    Easiest 10/10

Definitely my favorite Nightwish song with Marco singing. Too bad he left the band. For those not familiar with Nightwish, the dark-haired guy walking behind Marco is Tuomas Holopainen, founder of the band. He also composed most of the songs.
Are there any other Nightwish fans? I think it's very underrated and many people never even heard of it. It's been my favorite band for years now.
Definitely give them a try. Some classics are 'Sleeping Sun', 'Nemo', 'Ghost Love Score', 'Beauty of the Beast', 'Poet and the Pendulum', 'Amaranth', 'Meadows of Heaven', 'Storytime', 'Alpenglow'....

Been semi addicted to this song as of late

The video is decent enough, evoking nostalgia feelings towards Elvis and Marilyn Monroe. What I can't figure out is who is singing with him on the song? It is just random female back up singers? There is a version of the song that he performed on The Late Late Show with James Corden with an artist named Em Beihold. The link below says they wrote it together. I'm not sure why Em is not featured in the video. Did they choose the woman in the video (Jeri Mae James) because of her minor resemblance to Marilyn Monroe? Did Em not want to be in the video? I'm so confused. Thoughts?

I generally don't really like music videos, even though I watched a lot of them on MTV years ago. My main issue is usually with videos that distract from the music itself by trying too hard to tell a story, like they're a miniature movie or something. So having said that, I do often like videos that mostly just show the band playing. Not necessarily a "live in concert" video, but a video of the band playing (sometimes in an odd place) with short clips of other images that kind of contribute to the feel of the song (not distract, as noted above).

    This is a good example:
