Ahem. Check this out....so my brother's over visiting this weekend, special occasion on account of my birthday earlier this week, but since it *was* mid-week and there obviously wasn't much time or occasion or even mood enough to be celebrating it then, what with my class and all....well....best thing was just to hold off on the celebrations proper, our cozy li'l family get-together, until now....made the most sense, really, and I was perfectly on board with it. For numerous reasons.... But, yeah, in any case....so we finished watching "School of Rock" as a nice treat (*great* movie!) and all....and I got some wonderful gift cards from my parents and such, *very* useful, I just know it....and then I got to what my brother gave me. First one that I opened, it was a DVD, of course....and I could've just cried for sheer happiness then, really. He got me "Life As A House", and blast it all, I am just *so* tremendously relieved, overjoyed, zestful, energized, tingling, and....did I mention the joy?

It gave me quite a chuckle, too, 'cause apparently he's not yet seen the film, though he was thinking that he really should, like one of these days....and I just had to point out to him that, well, there *were* certain especial reasons that this one caught and held my fancy, and *how*-!....that there were certain reasons in particular, in other words, that it held my fancy....reasons that he obviously wouldn't be thinking of, natch. I mean, really. And just off-the-cuff, he made some remark about me seeing Hayden's bare chest - like my reaction to it, I guess - and ohhh, man, if ever I could've been flat on the floor from just the sheer *memory* of it.... But then I think I said something about, mmm, that's only *part* of it, though of course I was purring and grinning the whole time....and then, yes, *then* my brother, like just in passing, he throws out some idle comment about, what, it's not like Hayden has a nude scene in the film, right....? *getting all lightheaded and happily swoony*

Honestly, though....just you imagine where my mind was, at that moment....indeed, where it's quite solidly been ever since, and heck, now I *know* - that the first thing I'm gonna do here....is cue up The Shower Scene, I do believe....and maybe do some serious pausing-and-replaying, because hoo boy....how I have been longing after this movie....I mean, literally, for the past weeks and months now when I've thought of it, been thinking that I absolutely, desperately *need* it in my DVD collection and *nothing* else will truly succor me....all throughout....well, it was like this little happy, delicious, tingle-inspiring mantra thrilling through me....Hayden in the shower....Hayden in the shower....the *shower*....naked in the shower.... (well, *enough*, anyway, and for sure and certain that does the job for me quite nicely!) And it was just....this thing that I've been carrying with me, all this time....and now I can finally luxuriate in it at great length, leisure, pleasure and satisfaction....

And it's an even greater treat and bigger pure relief when you consider the fact that my brother, in the whole of everywhere he checked in Vancouver, which was *all* over, to be sure....he could only find the *one* copy of LAAH, and he even had to go against the mindset that he and I both share and fork over for it from HMV....ugh, grotesquely inflated prices as a rule, *ugh*, I say! But he knew how much this meant to me....and for that I only love him even more, and will be ever more grateful and truly indebted to him....happy enough about that too, I think - considering what *I* get out of the deal!

It's true. I'm using a purely random method myself, but it seems others are not. I'm cool with it though, as long as it's dredging up some comedy gold.

Myself, I'm using a random number generator to pick a page from the forum, then a thread from the page, then a page in the thread, then a post on the page. That's genuinely how I came up with my two so far. I've decided to branch out though; there's plenty of random goodness in the JCC, but what about *gasp* FanFiction?!
