ITT we talk about former RSAs we miss the most...

i.e., ME!

That's right guys. I'm stepping down from the RSA position and handing over all modly duties to halibut. It's been a good run, but at the moment I feel that I've done all I can for FF-UK, and my free time has become a lot less than it used to be with my job and relationship taking up most of it. I still plan to be around as a posting user, giving hal any advice he needs and reminding him to gameban people at the end of a Fantasy Premier League gameweek

Hal also has a lot of good ideas to take the whole of FanForce, and not just the UK, into the future and I back him 100% to succeed. Hopefully with him at the helm and with our support he can guide us back to being an active force around the world again

And I also still plan to attend meets in the future. I've met quite a lot of you, but there are still more around that I intend to come visit sometime. And of course, I intend to meet those of you I've already met again. Now I'm no longer RSA I can encourage a bit more beer flow at meets (although hal will probably modspank me for that )

Anyway, time to go and choose what my VIP colours are going to be

 

Only a Sith deals in absolutes, you must do what you must....so long as we still see you out and about mate!

BTW - you rock/ed. That goes without saying.

So, are we still gonna run the two-RSA system and elect someone new, or is halibut gonna run everything by himself?

 

Just as long as Hal doesn't start to go mad on power and create a totallitarian state in which we will have our freedoms taken and have to form an underground resistance and free all the downtrodden before rising up against our oppressor in a glorious final battle in which most of us will die but tomorrow will be made a better place for all.

 

Im sure that sounds like a film (or two) that I know of.....

At the moment, there are no plans to have a 2nd RSA.

 

That's all fine with me as long as I get to have a Hazard Suit & Gravity Gun like Gordon Freeman.
